Can I work with my current broker, or do I have to work with ALEXA™ directly?
You work with your list broker in the usual fashion. The broker will make recommendations regarding
ALEXA™ enhanced names as part of their overall list use recommendation - you decide what to mail.
Am I required to move list rental fulfillment to ALEXA™?
While this is not a requirement, ALEXA™ can be used to service all of your list rental needs. And with
ALEXA™ pricing, this may be a cost effective alternative to your existing fulfillment situation.
Am I required to take a minimum quantity of names through ALEXA™ to be a member?
No, there are no quantity requirements. There is, however, a guaranteed annual commitment of ten
thousand dollars. Using an average of 35,000 names per order, this equates to placing just 35 enhanced
orders per year.
Do I have to change list managers? Does ALEXA™ become my list manager?
No, you will continue to work with your list manager as you do currently.
Will ALEXA™ allow retailers and publishers into the association?
ALEXA™ is a catalog-only association. While some catalogers in ALEXA™ have retail stores, only catalog
data will be allowed in ALEXA™ and only catalog data will be used to enhance recency data.
Does ALEXA™ replace the Co-op databases?
ALEXA™ is designed to provide an additional source of prospect names for catalogers. Co-ops databases
will still have a place in your campaigns but you may find that ALEXA™ offers similar performance at a
much lower cost.
Can I still belong to the Co-op databases I'm a member of now?
Yes, there are no restrictions regarding participation in the Co-op databases.
Am I limited to taking a certain number of names, similar to the co-op databases?
There are no limits to ALEXA™ name usage. Each list owner manages his own names in his own best
interest.
Can I do ZIP and ZIP model selects of prospect names through ALEXA™?
Yes, and at no additional cost.
Can any attribute on the list owner's data card be used for selection?
Yes, that's no problem. All list-owner data card attributes will be supported by ALEXA™.
Can another member get access to my names without my control?
No, absolutely not. Your list manager controls access to your buyer file names.
Will my broker be willing to work with ALEXA™?
Yes. ALEXA™ has been well-received by the catalog list brokerage community.
Can I get ALEXA™ enhanced names net of my own housefile?
Yes, for a slight additional fee ALEXA™ can suppress your 0-24 month housefile when fulfilling orders.
Do I have to manage exchanges through ALEXA™ myself?
No, your broker and list manager will manage ALEXA™ usage similarly to any enhancements like
demographic data overlays.
Who pays the ALEXA™ enhancement fee?
The list owner pays ALEXA™ for all fees associated with the order. However, your list manager can pass
these fees along to the mailer thereby minimizing your overall costs.
Which catalogers currently participate in ALEXA™?
